Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a European Research Project Administrator who will predominantly support the administration of the European Research Council (ERC) synergy grant NaturalBionicS.

You will provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator, Professor Dario Farina, and his research team. The main duties for this position are: travel bookings, event organisation, expenses processing, budgetary support and grant record keeping.

This is a varied and demanding role and, as such, you will have excellent administration and organisational skills

Duties and responsibilities

You will provide administrative support, guidance, and advice to the project team to ensure that the funding is managed properly, seeking advice from Research Services and the Research Office as required.

You will provide regular financial information to support the management of research grants.

You will be able to work flexibly, plan and prioritise a diverse workload, support colleagues, and work independently.

Essential requirements

To be successful you will be educated to A’ Level or equivalent with experience of project administration and of working in a busy environment, administering complex functions.

You will have demonstrable experience of accurately dealing with financial information using spreadsheets and databases with experience of research grant administration.

This position is Part time (50% FTE) and fixed term until 31 May 2025 and will be base at our South Kensington Campus.
