We are seeking a proactive and experienced administrator to provide outstanding support in our Student Services directorate. You will need demonstrably excellent organisational, administrative, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with issues such as harassment and sexual abuse / violence is not essential but is a distinct advantage.
The role is varied, requires tact, sensitivity and discretion and will suit someone who can balance proactivity with an understanding of professional boundaries.
The initial focus for the successful candidate will be building on existing work to establish a new group of harassment supporters for students and to operationalise an online tool which enables students to report harassment more easily.
Duties and responsibilities
In addition to administrative support for our work to improve our response to harassment, the duties include general administrative support for Student Services operations and initiatives, PA support to the Director of Student Services and liaison across multiple departments and divisions across the College.
You will have significant experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably within Higher Education. You must have a flexible and co-operative approach, excellent IT skills and be comfortable working on your own initiative.
This job is full-time, maternity cover.
If you require any further details on the role please contact: Hannah Bannister firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that job descriptions cannot be exhaustive and the post-holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
