Job summary

Imperial’s Faculty of Engineering ( www.imperial.ac.uk/engineering ) carries out world-leading research in Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computing, Design Engineering, Earth Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials, Mechanical Engineering.

Duties and responsibilities

The College wishes to recruit a Research Services Administrator to work within the Faculty of Engineering. This position will provide post-award support in the administering of the Faculty’s Research Funding. This will include setting up budgets on the internal finance system, the monitoring and reconciliation of financial accounts, invoicing and the resolving of queries. Previous knowledge and experience of research grants and contracts in Higher Education would be desirable, but not essential.

Essential requirements

You will have proficient computer skills (excel, word, email), an eye for figures and be able to work to deadlines both independently and as part of a team. You will be committed to the delivery of customer services and have a “can do” approach.
