We are seeking an Alumni Engagement Officer to join the Alumni Relations Team at Imperial College, who can lead on the engagement of Imperial’s domestic and international alumni groups and associations.

Duties and responsibilities

You can manage, inspire and mobilise a diverse range of alumni network volunteers and possess a sensitivity to different cultural working norms. You have excellent project management skills, strong oral and written communication skills, can work with senior leadership and staff, and handle complex relationships. You will work closely with, and report to, the Director of Alumni Relations.

Essential requirements

    • Managing and developing a portfolio of domestic and global networks to contribute to, and support, an Alumni Relations Engagement Strategy in a mutually beneficial relationship

 

    • Developing strong relationships and providing relevant guidance and support to help groups deliver their activities, events and other initiatives and support the College

 

    • Developing relevant processes and working with data for managing a network’s or group’s programme

 

  • Working collaboratively with other individuals, teams, academics and relevant senior leadership to support the delivery of a strong engagement programme.

You will bring to the role experience gained in a position such as Alumni Relations Officer, Project Coordinator, Programme Coordinator, Membership Officer, Volunteer Coordinator/Officer, International Liaison, or similar.

This is a permanent fixed term contract, full-time, not normally less than 35 hours per week
