Job summary

Due to the continuing expansion of the Edtech Lab within the Business School, we are seeking a creative and motivated Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join our growing team. You will contribute to the Edtech Lab’s vision to create exceptional learning experiences, using your expertise to support the design and development of online, blended and innovative programmes across the School.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Media, you will have an exciting and varied role, providing video editing and motion graphics design services across the Edtech Lab’s suite of programmes and courses. This includes transforming content in a graphically interesting way, supporting the video production team to produce edits and creating engaging learning experiences for students. You will also be creating and delivering high-quality, on-brand designs from initial concept through to delivery, designing innovative graphics and digital assets for a variety of audiences with user and learning experience at the core.

Essential requirements

  • Evidence of prior experience in developing media content for online educational programmes
  • Demonstrable motion graphic design skills with a strong portfolio, including experience of using software such as After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Demonstrable video editing skills, including a solid experience with video software packages such as Premiere Pro
  • High level graphic design skills with extensive knowledge in the use of Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to transform briefs into a final product.
