Grade 5: £25,941 – £30,942 per annum (With discretionary range to £33,797 per annum)

We seek to appoint an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Gonococcal Vaccine Project across a range of functions, and to provide a PA services to Professor Cal MacLennan and Professor Christine Rollier.

You will be responsible for liaising with staff and students at all levels and will assist with the proposed expansion of the Gonococcal Vaccine Project (CVP) group over the coming years. You will manage diary appointments, deal with postal correspondence, telephone calls, and emails, and reply to queries on behalf of Professors MacLennan and Rollier. You will organise and set up meetings with collaborators and partners, and ensure circulation of recordings and minutes in weekly and termly meetings. You will also provide full financial administration support to grants assistants, senior project managers, and the wider NDM Finance team.

You will be educated to A- Level or equivalent, and have will previous experience of diary management and managing administrative processes. You will be able to communicate effectively and to a very high professional standard, both written and verbally. It is essential that you are able to organise and prioritise a varied workload efficiently to meet deadlines, without supervision. You will also have excellent computer skills, and a proficiency in audio and touch typing.
