The post is full time, although part time and remote working can be considered.

Dependant on demands of the role you may be eligible for compensatory payments in addition to your basic salary.

Applications are invited for an Assistant Trial Manager, this role is part of the Clinical Trials Unit and the role is part of the trial management team and responsible for assisting in ensuring the clinical trial runs successfully.

You will be responsible to a member of the Trial Management Team and the wider theme group to ensure the successful set up, running and completion of the trials in their portfolio on time and on budget.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and be able to work effectively as part of a team or independently. You will have experience of working in a similar role and successful recruitment of participants to clinical trials. You will need to have excellent IT skills with experience in use of clinical databases.

We have multiple roles available within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and the Nuffield Department of Medicine you will likely have a choice of which unit you would like to join. You will be based in either the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG, or at the Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit, Churchill Hospital, OX3 7LE, but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.

The positions are funded for 2 years in the first instance.
