Grade 7: £ 33,309 – £ 40,927 per annum
We are seeking a highly motivated cardiac physiologist to support the rapidly expanding programmes of innovative research within The Oxford Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) that require echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise testing support. The primary role of the post holder will be to perform echocardiography data collection and analysis.
You will be required to provide echocardiography expertise, skills and support to a range of clinical trials and clinical research studies within the facility. As well as this you will assist in the management of the advanced imaging analysis service within CCRF alerting the CCRF management team to any shortfalls or delays in a timely manner.
A BSc in clinical physiology or other relevant scientific discipline is essential before you start work and you must have BSE accreditation. Experience in doing cardiopulmonary exercise testing would be desirable.
This is a full time appointment on a fixed term contract for 1 year. Part time would be considered at 60% FTE or more.
