Communications & Engagement Manager

Grade 8: £42,149 to £50,296 per year
This fantastic opportunity balances a focus on people with strategic oversight, bringing with it excitement and challenges. You will lead a team working deliver all aspects of communication and engagement including equality, diversity and inclusivity, outreach and alumni relations. Your team will also provide essential support for wellbeing and staff-focused events.
You will be responsible for developing key strategies, influencing senior staff and academics on matters under your remit and providing confidential advice to the Heads of Administration and Finance.
An experienced communications professional, you will have outstanding interpersonal skills and an understanding of EDI in a higher education setting. You will have a track record of developing and implementing strategies, and of supporting staff through periods of change. Accuracy, discretion and the ability to manage varied and complex workload are essential.
