We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join the Service Desk for the Development and Alumni Relations System (DARS).
Based at the DARS Support Centre in the Development Office, the Service Desk acts as the first point of contact for staff seeking assistance with DARS. In the role of Service Desk Analyst you will triage enquiries, offer basic advice and guidance to end users; troubleshoot, and refer on to second line support teams when necessary. You will respond to service requests within agreed service standards, and contribute to the development of technical and training documentation.
You will be a team player with the ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and adopt a proactive approach to problem solving. It is essential that you have a good level of all round computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. Experience of a CRM system or fundraising database system would be an advantage.

Whilst the role is a Grade 5 position, we would be willing to consider candidates with potential but less experience who are seeking a development opportunity, for which an initial appointment would be at Grade 4 (£22,847 – £26,341 p.a.) with the responsibilities adjusted accordingly.
