The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. NDPH is home to the Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU), a major international research institute and is also a key partner is the new Oxford University Big Data Institute.
As Data Analyst you will join a team that provides data analytical support to the epidemiology, access and IT teams that help support the UK Biobank study. Your main responsibilities will involve processing, managing and curating health-related data from a wide variety of sources into the UK Biobank.
To be considered for the Data Analyst role, you will need to have an MSc in a scientific or numerate subject, or to have equivalent experience, and to be proficient in using a statistical software package (i.e. R, SAS, STATA), particularly for data import, manipulation and analysis. You will also have working knowledge of SQL and experience using and processing large or complex datasets.
The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for three years. The closing date for applications is noon on 22nd March 2021.
