Please note that this role requires the successful post holder to have Known Consignor status. You will therefore be required to provide employment and/or education history going back for a full 5 years in your application.

A satisfactory basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check result must be required for the successful candidate.

The Ashmolean Museum has been described as “unquestionably the finest university museum in the world” (The Times, October 29th, 2009). It is part of the Oxford University Museums Group and is open to all without charge. Housing the University’s world class collections of art and archaeology, the Ashmolean is a great place to work.

Working with the Facilities Team, you will be responsible for providing Soft-FM support to the Museum. You will ensure all buildings are running efficiently and remain fit for purpose. You will also liaise closely with all Ashmolean Teams, University Estates Department and external contractors in regards to works to all buildings

This role combines the need for good team work, self-motivation and communication with experience of working in a busy environment. A track record that proves your ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This is a full-time, permanent contract.
