Finance Officer (Grants)
NDPH, Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford
Grade 6: £29,614 – £38,587 per annum
The Nuffield Department of Population Health is one of the largest and most prestigious research departments within the University of Oxford, attracting some of the best researchers, academics and students.
We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to join our friendly and busy team. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of research grants and grant applications, and will be given appropriate training and support. You will provide tailored financial support to key Principal Investigators and will also liaise with other departmental, divisional and central University staff.
To be considered, you will be a graduate or have equivalent work experience. You will have a strong track record of financial management, excellent IT and communication skills and a good working knowledge of computerised accountancy/finance systems, ideally Oracle Financials.
We are recruiting for two posts and the positions are full time (part time considered):
• Fixed-term (2 years)
• Maternity leave cover (1 year) – this post could be considered as a secondment opportunity
