Hours:F/T, this role is offered on an annualised hours contract. Your hours will be worked flexibly and according to the needs of the College. Your weekly working pattern will be agreed in advance.

About the role

We havean exciting opportunity to join theHub Café Team at Kellogg College as our Hub Barista.

You will play an important role inserving drinks and food to customers, answering basicqueriesand responding to customer feedback as required. You will also help maintain good working order of the coffee machine, and ensure temperature records are kept up to date.

You will be responsiblechecking orders have been correctly delivered, and liaising with fresh food suppliers to ensure stock is at the required level and ensure the food arrives in good condition.You will also ensure that Food Safety and relevant Health & Safety legislation regulations and all risk assessments for complied with.

You will be joining one of Oxford University’s largest and most international graduate colleges and has a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-timebasis andhas a strong and vibrant body of full-time students as well. The College’s wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.

About you

You will have alevel 1 in food safety and preparation qualification, or relevant experience. You will have demonstrable experiences of providing good customer service, a proven ability to juggle multiple demands, manage competing deadlines and remain calm under pressure. You willpossessgood verbal and written communication skills, interpersonalskillsand the ability to work as part of a team, as well being able to work independently using your own initiative.
