IT Onboarding & Migration Manager (Human Tissue Governance)

The Medical Sciences Division of the University of Oxford is setting up a division-wide human tissue sample management system. If you are the sort of person who can help departments to get their data into a form that can be brought into the new system and assist with migration both from a data and a process point of view, then this role could be an excellent opportunity for you.
You will need to be able to work with researchers at all levels including understanding their work and their pressures, and helping them to get their data into a form that can be managed by OpenSpecimen. You will be able to train people in process and software use and will be able to work with the OpenSpecimen IT lead to ensure data is accurately migrated and managed.
You will have experience of working in a regulated environment, of helping people approach and use IT systems, and good communication skills in English with the ability to write user guides and explain difficult concepts to colleagues at all levels of seniority and experience.
