We are looking to appoint a part-time (20% FTE/7.3 hours per week) administrative assistant to work on an NIHR funded project, led by Professor Kam Bhui carrying out research into the health inequalities experience by ethnic minorities with regards to the use of the Mental Health Act. The post is based at the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.
The post is for a fixed term (funded to 28 February 2023).
You will have general responsibility for the administrative support for the Co-Pact project, acting as first point of contact, responding to enquiries and coordinating weekly team meetings (including compiling agendas and drafting minutes). You will make arrangements for training and events, (room booking and catering), and any travel and accommodation arrangements required.
You will have experience of managing administrative processes at a similar level, and reception or customer facing work. You will be able to work independently and organise your own workload and deadlines. With the ability to use standard computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) you will have experience of using a database and of working in an office environment. Experience of working within a Higher Education Institution (HEI) and an understanding of NHS systems would be desirable.
