We are seeking a highly-motivated Laboratory Technician to join the pre-erythrocytic malaria vaccine development group at the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford. The research programme at the Jenner Institute focuses on pre-clinical and clinical testing of novel vaccines.

You will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the clinical trials immunology laboratory. You will conduct laboratory work to GCP standards and be responsible for sample shipment and biobanking.

It is essential that you are educated to A level or equivalent in biology or related area with practical experience working in a laboratory environment. You should have knowledge of GCP, HTA and Quality Assurance and have an interest and/or experience in vaccine development or infectious disease research. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also required for this role.
