An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a part time, fixed term Project Administrator at the Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD) based at the Oxford Department of International Development.

Reporting to the Principal investigator (PI) of the project, and working closely with research staff at TMCD and the project partners you will manage the implementation of the project. This will include the financial management and reporting on the project to various bodies including the funder, the department, and the University. You will also be required to arrange and supervise legal and contractual agreements with collaborators and contractors in liaison with the department, as well as manage general administration and communication activities. The post holder may also be asked to provide research assistance to the PI.

The post is part-time and fixed term until 31st December 2022, starting as soon as possible.

You should have experience of project management and demonstrate evidence of strong intellectual and analytical skills, experience of financial management and project management. As well as the ability to handle and prioritise a wide portfolio of responsibilities, excellent communication skills and experience of providing strategic and operational advice on planning and resource allocation, including the presentation and interpretation of complex financial data.
