We are seeking to appoint a Project Administrator to assist the UKSPINE Programme Director and CMD Project Manager in delivering high quality, professional project support for the UK Spine for Knowledge Exchange at the Centre for Medicines Discovery.

You will assume full responsibility for supporting the financial and operational management of the UKSPINE project portfolio. You will play a central role in liaising with the UKSPINE academics within Oxford, as well as with the many external collaborating partners. You will support the Project Manager and Programme Director in closely monitoring the project, to ensure that the project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved, as well as having key role on all project committees, which will involve organising and attending meetings and extensive email and phone communications

It is essential that you are educated to degree level or equivalent, and have experience of administration or project management in an academic environment. You will have the proven ability to organise events and make complex administrative arrangements, and have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and suggest possible solutions. It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a systematic, thorough, and well-organised approach to work with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks. You will also be able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
