Grade 6: £29,614 – £35,326 per annum
Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford) is a global pioneer and leader in population health science. The department has over 750 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward.
The Public Engagement and Involvement Officer will work as part of a small team to support the involvement of patients and the public in the Department’s research. You will work with the Public Engagement and Involvement Manager and other colleagues to develop and coordinate public involvement and engagement activities that help support the Department’s strategic objectives. You will support a range of projects, including the world-renowned COVID-19 treatment trial, RECOVERY, and a new clinical trial investigating a treatment that may help prevent cardiovascular disease.
To be considered, you will have relevant experience in a public and patient involvement and engagement role and excellent research and analytical skills. You will also have excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects and activities successfully.
The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for two years. The closing date for applications is noon on Monday 24 January 2022.
