Research Facilitator – Data Linkage

Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 p.a.
The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. NDPH is home to the Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU), a major international research institute and is also a key partner is the new Oxford University Big Data Institute.
As Research Facilitator you will coordinate and monitor the progress of all aspects of data linkage with multiple data providers across the UK, which will include preparing and submitting applications and renewals for linkage, data sharing agreements, reports to data linkage partners, and maintaining schedules of contracts and expiry dates. You will be responsible for receiving data files, decrypting these and uploading these to secure servers, and helping set up and co-ordinate pilot studies relating to future linkages.
To be considered for this role, you will hold a degree in a relevant subject, or have equivalent experience, and have experience in health research study administration. You will also have the proven ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience and understanding of issues related to dealing with confidential data.
