Research Integrity Officer

Grade 7: £33,309 – £40,927 per annum
We are seeking a Research Integrity Officer to join the Department of Engineering Science. The prime responsibility of the role is to provide specialist support to the department’s staff to support the integrity of research and other activities in the department. This will encompass advice on
– data management (including handling of personal data and data protection),
– information security,
– conflict of interest,
– export control,
– non-financial compliance and governance
This exciting new role involves developing expert knowledge in each of the areas above. In addition, we would you expect you to advise on best practice in research and according to professional frameworks, compliance with funders, University and legal regulations.
You should have previous experience working either or both in supporting research and research administration and in supporting compliance generally, for a university or equivalent complex environment. You should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a very high degree of accuracy and reliability.
