Senior MRI Radiographer

Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 per annum

Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you want to work with a cutting-edge imagining technique in a world class centre, providing specialised clinical diagnostic imaging?

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented MR Radiographer to join the imaging team at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR). We are looking for someone who will enjoy working in a cutting-edge clinical research environment performing advanced MRI research techniques (cardiac, liver and neuro) and actively participate for the clinical cardiac MR Service as part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, radiographers, nurses and physicists. You will primarily assist in the provision of a safe, efficient, effective, and flexible MR scanning service for the cardiovascular, liver and neuro-imaging research protocols within OCMR. You will be expected to deliver a high standard of imaging and patient care; assist in protocol development and set up (both hardware and software aspects) and help provide training and supervision of the imaging aspects of the unit. You will work with and be supported by the lead radiographer and the imaging team.

You will hold a DCR or BSc (Hons) Radiography and be registered with the HCPC. Experience of working within a research field (or evidence of some independent research) would be desirable

This is a full time appointment on a fixed term for 3 years in the first instance and you will be based at Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), john Radcliffe hospital.
