As Senior Programme Manager you will be directly responsible for aspects of the delivery of the School’s world class flagship MBA degree programme. You will provide direction, translating strategy into operational outcomes, motivating and developing your team members and collaborating with partners and stakeholders internally (e.g. Admissions, Careers, Examinations, Student Welfare, Alumni Relations, Marketing and Executive Degrees and Executive Education) and externally (targeted Alumni, scholarship funders, Central Welfare and external sponsors of Student Projects and Internships in the public and private sectors).

Reporting directly to the Co-Curriculum and Student Engagement Manager, you will be required to deputise in their absence. You will promote a professional, empowered and purposeful culture, delivering service of the highest quality based on a culture of continuous improvement. This will include taking a leading role in developing and maintaining appropriate quality assurance mechanisms, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation. You will also provide expert advice on student matters to fellow administrators and faculty, particularly the MBA Programme Directors and faculty teaching. Working collaboratively with other Senior Programme Managers will be essential for the success of this role.

You will be a proactive leader who takes initiative to chair meetings, plan and manage changes for continuous improvements, drive logistical arrangements and solve complex problems, providing clear direction and support to your team members. You will contribute to policy decisions and influence and shape the curriculum of the programmes you work on.

The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all of the participants on the degree programmes experience outstanding customer service and flawless logistical arrangements. In order to ensure this, they will build rapport and naturally engage and interact with all departments within the School, and external University.

In order to be shortlisted yo will have proven competency in programme management and delivery, with evidence of successful programme coordination from inception to delivery, experience of working effectively and authoritatively with clients or customers to ensure satisfaction, resolving client concerns or difficulties calmly and effectively to deliver an excellent client/customer/student experience as well as demonstrable ability to rapidly become a subject matter expert to provide advice as well as concise and targeted recommendations, finding solutions to guarantee continuous improvement and innovation rather than protect the status quo. You will be experienced inpolicy writing and wider strategy implementation.
