Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 per annum
This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a key post which supports student funding work across the collegiate University.
This post is available to cover a period of maternity leave, on a full-time, fixed-term basis for approximately 13 months, from 1st April 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
This post plays a pivotal role in Oxford University’s major graduate scholarship initiatives, including the Graduate Endowment Matched Scholarships (GEMS), the establishment of the Academic Futures graduate access scholarships, and a range of other scholarship schemes.
The postholder will be responsible for the operational smooth-running of the schemes, will manage the scholarship selection process for a number of new gifts, and support governance and reporting. Although not a frontline fundraising role, the postholder will work closely with fundraisers across the collegiate University to support donor stewardship and arrange the matching of funds with donated gifts.
The postholder will line-manage three members of the Student Fees and Funding team, providing guidance and leadership for the policy and operational areas of a portfolio of undergraduate and graduate scholarships.
The postholder will require a flexible problem-solving approach, a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills with students, colleagues and external contacts at all levels.
