Clinical Trial Programmer
Fixed term post on Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 p.a.
Applications are invited for a Clinical Trial Programmer, this role is part of the Clinical Trials unit working with the Senior Programmer. The role will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Unit’s Clinical Databases and IT systems.
The successful applicant will maintain, support and enhance existing in-house software systems such as online surveys, randomisation and trial management. Responsibilities will include the development, build and validation of new software systems and trial databases and to deliver system demonstrations and training to trial staff within the unit.
You will be well organized, demonstrate good communications skills and have experience of programming languages, web development environments and knowledge of server and database administration.
You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG.
