Staffordshire University is opening a £4.4m Woodlands Day Nursery and Forest School in early 2022.

The nursery is located on our Leek Road Campus and is set adjacent to woodlands, yet very close to the city centre, with excellent local public transport links and employee on-site parking.

The new facilities will be a sustainable place of early years learning with connections to the immediate landscape and nature reserve. What you need to be successful in the role

Hold level three Core competence in Administration or equivalent.
Evidence of progressive professional development and substantial administration, finance, marketing and customer service experience preferably in a similar setting.
Ability to organise a significant workload while balancing competing priorities and producing work to a high and accurate standard by agreed deadlines.
To successfully coordinate marketing of the service through various methods; open days, tours, website, social media.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work constructively with a wide range of customers – parents and staff, including evidence of the use of tact, diplomacy and negotiation.
Good verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
Evidence of delivering a positive customer service.
Ability to communicate issues clearly to Head of Service, Nursery Manager and parents along with external / internal partners such as; Local Authority, Ofsted and Environmental Health.
Effective and committed team player able to work successfully with others and to build positive working relationships.
A good working knowledge of computers and relevant IT skills.   Current knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office; Word and Excel along with ability to navigate social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
