Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is looking to appoint an Assistant Teaching & Learning Administrator to join our welcoming and vibrant community. This post is a key part of the team, acting as a point of contact for both staff and students, supporting the department in the professional planning, effective delivery and evaluation pf programmes within the student lifecycle. The role will also proactively support an inclusive, caring and supportive student experience.

The post will involve support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment and student/programme records. The post holder will report to the Senior Teaching & Learning Administrator.

Key Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Maths and English language) or equivalent/or relevant experience. Experience of administration work in a busy office environment is essential and experience of administration in a teaching and learning environment is desirable. Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential and we are looking for candidates who have a commitment to high quality service provision as well as good interpersonal skills.
