Duties and Responsibilities

UCL is looking for people with experience in delivery strategic procurement methods that meet both operational and commercial outcomes.

We will be running ongoing campaigns for roles and will draw down applications at specified points to assess and interview. If you are interested in a role we encourage you to apply early, when our posts have been filled we will close the campaign. We will draw down applications in:

• Early November 2020
• Late January 2021
• End March 2021

Our Category Manager will work as senior managers in one of our procurement category teams. They will oversee procurement and commercial contract management activity; driving forward buying and commercial solutions to deliver strategic drivers for their category

This is a open ended role.

Key Requirements

You will be of graduate calibre with significant commercial experience and will have worked in large, complex and decentralised organisations with a significant number of diverse stakeholders.

You will have excellent commercial acumen and be able to evidence how you have delivered commercial change and savings in your previous roles. Your tenacity and results focused nature will come through in your application, as will your inclusive leadership style and experience.
