Duties and Responsibilities

The Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) at UCL Was set up in 2015 to further understanding of and best practice in how people teach and learn economics. Since then, CTaLE has designed and implemented economics training programmes with various stakeholders including the British Government, led the research into various aspects of economics education, established a successful online conference and a seminar series, and been recognized as a leading player in the world of economics education.

The Managers role is primarily to assist Professor Chaudhury and the CTaLE team involved with the day-to-day management and administration of the Centre and its various activities and initiatives. The post holder will be a first point of contact for the Centre and play a key role in the co-ordination of the work of all Centre members and those we work with CTaLE management team to support and expand on the work of the Centre, and supervise any professional services members of the team at Grade 6.

Key Requirements

The role holder will drive the day-to-day management of the course and will be expected to work independently within the remit of the role. They will need to have an understanding of economics education and be confident communicating with a wide range of people.
