Duties and Responsibilities

UCL Eastman Dental Institute (EDI) is a world-leading, academic centre for dentistry and translational research based in London, UK. EDIs main activities are research and education in the field of oral healthcare sciences.

The main purpose of the is role is to act as the Programme Lead for Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Sedation & Pain Management programme. This programme ensures a high standard of education of multi-professional students within the UCL Connected Curriculum framework.

The post holder will also be expected to manage week to week teaching and assessment responsibilities of 2 P/T honorary staff that teach on the Sedation Certificate Programme based at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Key Requirements

The post holder must have a masters (or equivalent) qualification in an appropriate subject, and also have a medical degree. They must have experience of delivering teaching in Dental Sedation and teaching at postgraduate level. The successful applicant must be registered with the General Medical Council, or be eligible to register.
