Duties and Responsibilities

The UCL Division of Surgery and Interventional Science is a collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment where clinicians, engineers, allied health professionals and researchers are constantly striving for innovative approaches to treatment. This includes developing highly effective methods which go beyond the boundaries of conventional wisdom and treating each patient as an individual.

The holder of this role will support teaching for the postgraduate, taught MS in Aesthetics programme ensuring a high standard of education of multi-professional students within the UCL Connected Curriculum framework.

The post holder will develop innovative and appropriate teaching, learning and assessment methods that create interest, understanding and enthusiasm in students. In addition the post holder will establish relevant research themes, supervise student research projects from conception to publication and continue the development of course content.

Key Requirements

Applicants must have a medical degree, current registration or eligibility to register with GMC and a higher degree e.g. MD/MS or PhD, or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications.

Relevant teaching qualification or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) is desirable.
