Duties and Responsibilities

The Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit is a specialist unit set up within the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology with a specific remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed studies. The role holder will assist with the efficient collection, processing, validation and quality assurance of study data from various trials. They will also work closely together with the Trial Manager to ensure an efficient service of communicating with trial recruiting sites and replenishing any necessary supplies at sites. The role holder will be responsible to the Trial Manager.

This post is funded for 12 months in the first instance.

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone with experience of data entry and data management, excellent communication skills and experience of working on a clinical trial or in a medical research environment. Experience of word processing, using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access are also essential requirements for this post.
