Duties and Responsibilities

UCL Eastman Dental Institute are a world-leading, academic centre for postgraduate dentistry and translational research, based in London UK. The CPD Unit was established in 1995 and offers varied comprehensive and structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes for the whole of the dental team and includes Short courses, Revision Courses and Distance Learning courses.

The Dental Nurse will be responsible for the organisation and preparation of CPD facilities for all the varied programmed courses on a day-to-day basis within the unit and provide dental nursing support in clinical suites as appropriate.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will be DBS checked and fully registered with the GDC as a Dental Nurse, hold a NEBDN (National Certificate or Diploma for Dental Nursing) or equivalent Hospital Qualification with experience of nursing skills in practice or hospital with working knowledge in Health & Safety, Cross Infection Contract and CQC guidelines.
