
Divisional Staffing Manager
UCL Division of Surgery & Interventional Science
Duties and Responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the UCL HR Business Partner & HR Services teams and the Divisional Manager to provide an effective and efficient Staffing/HR service to all staff and to ensure UCL policies, procedures and employment legislation are effectively communicated and disseminated across the Division.
Provide high-level support to the Director, Divisional Manager and all line managers on the management of staff appraisal and development processes, staff review and staff probation and induction schemes. The post holder will need to ensure compliance with the UCL termination process for all Divisional staff, briefing academic staff and principal investigators as appropriate.
Key Requirements
Working knowledge of employment procedures and associated regulations and policies. Experience of staffing issues within the HE sector and the NHS. Experience of organising and maintaining computerised data and producing reports. Experience of dealing with work of a sensitive and confidential nature, handling confidential information and communications in a sensitive and effective manner.
