Duties and Responsibilities
The purpose of the role of Head of Financial Accounting is to lead, manage and motivate the Financial Accounting team in the fulfilment of UCLs statutory financial reporting requirements – ensuring a culture of high performance, strong stakeholder engagement and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The role requires leadership, technical excellence, expertise in financial systems and the ability to operate across both policy and day-to-day operational process.
The post-holder will be committed to the principle of service excellence and be able to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the institution as well as key external partners.
