Duties and Responsibilities

The Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology is seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active individual with good inter personal skills for the role of HR Officer.

The Human Resources Officer provides essential support for the day to day HR administration within ICTM, working closely with the HR Manager on all HR related activities for the Institute covering all aspects of the employment cycle. The role holder will be part of the Institutes professional services team and is expected to have a professional attitude and pro-active approach in order to undertake the role. The role offers opportunities for personal development and is offered as a full-time position.

The role holder will be responsible for administering recruitment processes; contractual changes; monitoring new starter processes, probation and appraisals; advising staff on a range of HR policies and supporting staff development initiatives.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to work well with others as well as independently. The role is ideally suited to an individual who works well in a dynamic environment, where attention to detail, and ability to resolve problems are important, along with the ability to manage varied workloads. Prior experience of working in an HR administrative role is essential.
