Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Science,Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP) at University College London (UCL) is an interdisciplinary department that aims to explore, experiment with, and improve the ways in which scientific, technological, and engineering expertise are engaged in public decision-making and policy processes.

UCL STEaPP is seeking a talented, innovative, and industrious scholar with teaching, research and policy engagement experience in the area of digital technology policy. Lecturers within STEaPP develop and deliver top international calibre courses and educational materials, develop and deliver their own portfolio of internationally recognised, policy-relevant research activities, contribute to the collaborative development and execution of STEaPPs broader strategic research and policy engagement agendas, and contribute to the development and administration of departmental programmes.

Key Requirements

Candidates should have a PhD, teaching and course development experience. The successful applicant will have demonstrable ability to work successfully in an interdisciplinary research environment, and particularly in collaborating with colleagues from considerably different disciplines.

Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in the research areas central to the work carried out in the Digital Technologies Policy Lab.
