Duties and Responsibilities
The postholder will contribute to the MSc Speech & Language Sciences programme. The role will involve supporting student dissertations through advice on research methods, data analysis and statistics. The appointee will be engaged in a range of activities including lecturing, workshops, small group teaching/tutorials, assessment, curriculum development, preparation of new materials, organisation and administration of modules. They will also provide personal tutor support to individual students.
The appointee will take up their post on 1st May 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Key Requirements
The appointee must have a PhD in the area of Speech and Language Sciences, Psycholinguistics or a cognate discipline. They will have experience of teaching and assessment at Masters level. The post-holder must have experience at teaching statistics and research methods in psychology and cognate disciplines. Familiarity with the field of speech and language sciences and speech and language therapy would be an advantage.
