The UCL Institute of Education is a world-leading centre for research and teaching in social science and education, ranked number one for education worldwide in the 2020 QS World University Rankings for the fifth year running.
The Department of Psychology and Human Development brings together staff with research and teaching interests that encompass psychological approaches to learning, development and teaching from early childhood to adulthood.
Members of the Department contribute to a range of courses, from undergraduate, advanced diploma and masters courses to research degrees to short courses focusing principally on the continuing professional development of educators.
We are seeking a Lecturer (Teaching) to support the delivery and assessment of a range of undergraduate and graduate courses across programmes in the Department.
This post is offered as a maternity/sabbatical cover, to January 2022 in the first instance.
Key Requirements
We are seeking a Lecturer (Teaching) to support the delivery and assessment of a range of undergraduate and graduate courses across programmes in the Department.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching offered to undergraduate and postgraduate students and offer specialist supervision for their final year research projects. Your major contribution will be on courses on the BA/BSc Psychology with Education.
An earned (or close to completion) doctorate in psychology or cognate area is essential, as is experience of working effectively on undergraduate and graduate programmes, including teaching, tutoring and assessing students.
