Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder is part of the MBBS Management Team which coordinates and manages the development and delivery of the curriculum, assessment and quality assurance of the undergraduate medicine degree programme at UCL Medical School (UCLMS) and operates student support services for medical students.
The post holder is part of a small team responsible for managing curriculum and assessment activities in years 4 to 6; for supporting Academic Leads in curriculum and assessment review, development and innovation; and for working with the Head of the MBBS Management (Years 4-6) to ensure professional and high quality student services to support academic success and well-being.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have a good general education to A levels, NVQ Level I / II Administration or equivalent and will have experience in a professional services role, preferably in a Medical School or other academic environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to motivate a team and promote good relationships. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to identify service requirements and design administrative systems appropriate to a student-centred environment and will be innovative and problem-solving with the ability to adapt and accommodate change.
