Duties and Responsibilities
The Programme Administrator is a member of the Academic Support Team (AST) within the Institutes Professional Services Team.
The AST is managed and led by the Academic Support Manager, and is responsible for administering the taught student lifecycles (including, admissions, enrolment, module registration, programme administration, assessment and progression), quality assurance, management and enhancement (including annual and periodic reviews of programmes), curricular development (including the annual programme review cycle and development of new programmes), and providing effective administrative support for learning and teaching and programme delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy customer-focused HE or comparable environment, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. They should also have excellent interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, the ability to view work tasks analytically and to solve problems methodologically, as well as being able to maintain complex electronic records and querying databases.
