Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint a Receptionist / Building Attendant for the Cancer Institute in the Paul O’Gorman Building. This is to provide a professional reception service and to deal politely and efficiently with all inquiries. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Support Services Manager and will be required to carry out all the duties associated with the provision of the Paul O’Gorman reception service including Building help desk coordination and general administrative support duties.
The post is open ended.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent oral and written communications skills along with the ability to organise and prioritise work. This role requires front line reception or public facing experience together with effective social skills gained from dealing with the public. The candidate must have the ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people and demonstrate willingness to work as part of a team. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
