Duties and Responsibilities

The Research & Enterprise Administrator will proactively contribute to the development and implementation of the Bartlett School of Architectures research and enterprise activities.

This position will play a key role in providing support for the coordination of research assessments, the preparation of proposals to secure external funding, the management of internally funded research projects and the provision of ongoing staff support.

The post holder will work closely with the Research and Enterprise Manager, the Director and Associate Director of Research, and the Director of Enterprise

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will be educated to A level or equivalent experience with GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external staff at all levels, excellent communication skills with a good command of oral and written English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and computer literacy, including understanding or and competency in desktop applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

They will have experience of providing administrative support to senior staff, experience of working in an administrative environment, the ability and willingness to work collaboratively as well as independently, and the Ability to work calmly under pressure to tight deadlines.
