Duties and Responsibilities
The main purpose of this post is to take the responsibility for the design and development of the Knowledge Graph of the Sloane Lab and to enable an integrated, homogenous data environment for the project. This will include the development of key technical solutions to ensure the successful aggregation of disparate datasets, integration, and interrogation under a unified data schema. The post holder will undertake research and development at the forefront of museum collections and digital humanities data science and is expected to have a background on Semantic Web Technologies and Linked Data.
The post is funded until 30th September 2024 in the first instance.
Very good understanding of Semantic web technologies and formats. Experience with Triple Stores and/or Property Graphs. Experience with designing and implementing an appropriate data collection and storage infrastructure including metadata mapping and harvesting.
