Duties and Responsibilities
Plan research studies, including developing analysis protocols, and conduct analyses; produce high-quality research outputs, including writing manuscripts for publication; work collaboratively with other LHA researchers (possibly including neurobiological work with colleagues at the Dementia Research Centre); maintain open science practices; become aware of all applicable Information Security policies; keep appropriate records; actively follow and promote UCL policies, including Equal Opportunities and Race Equality policies; develop mentoring skills, particularly higher degree supervision (essential for MSc supervision, and desirable for PhD supervision), and if wished there are opportunities across the university to develop lecturing and other group teaching experience.
Duration of the role is full time until 31 March 2024 in the first instance.
The post holder will be qualified to PhD level (for Grade 7 will have at least submitted the thesis) and have evidence of research experience. Ideally, they will have experience of longitudinal datasets and related analytic approaches. This post will suit someone with a background in epidemiology or a related population health science that can include mental health and neuroscience perspectives.
