Duties and Responsibilities
A fantastic opportunity to join UCLs Information Services Division (ISD) as Senior Analyst Developer, to deliver excellence whilst continually evolving and progressing at this globally recognised leading university.
Within ISD, this role is part of the IT Service Operations group, which manages UCL’s infrastructure, data platforms and enterprise applications.
The role covers a mixture of second/third-line support, and development work/release management across a range of technologies for an expanding Estates-focused Product Team. The team currently covers Gallagher Building Security, and the StarRez Student Accommodation platforms, as well as the incumbent FAMIS CAFM and its peripheral PHP applications. You will work alongside two other analyst developers.
Initial focus will include supporting a significant UCL project to procure and implement a new cloud hosted IWMS service and then ideally becoming Service Operations Manager for IWMS at UCL. Other key responsibilities include work on moving various services to the cloud, and improving, testing, and supporting multiple complex data integrations.
You are an experienced analyst who is a tenacious problem solver, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work within an Agile Product team to support and improve a growing portfolio of services.
You have excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills, and experience of supporting and enhancing complex enterprise-level applications in a large organisation, specifically CAFM or IWMS systems.
PHP and VB.net skills, and server troubleshooting experience would be advantageous, as would experience of GIT and CI/CD.
