Duties and Responsibilities
A fantastic opportunity to join UCLs Information Services Division (ISD) as Senior Analyst Developer, to deliver excellence whilst continually evolving and progressing at this globally recognised leading university.
Within ISD, this role is part of the IT Service Operations group, which manages UCL’s infrastructure, data platforms and enterprise applications.
This varied role covers a mixture of support and development/release management across a range of technologies, as part of an expanding Estates-focused Agile Product Team. Services include, but are not limited to; Gallagher Building Security, StarRez Student Accommodation platforms, FAMIS CAFM and peripheral PHP applications, and KX Conferencing. (Previous experience of these is desirable but not essential, if you bring transferrable skills and experience and a willingness to learn).
Initial focus will include supporting a significant UCL project to implement a new cloud hosted IWMS service and then ideally becoming Service Operations Manager for IWMS at UCL. The team will also be working on moving services to the cloud, and improving, testing and supporting multiple complex data integrations.
Key Requirements
You have substantial experience of support and continuous improvement of complex enterprise-level applications. You are a tenacious problem solver, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You have a strong command of SQL and PL/SQL and are able to develop and share a wide range of skills and knowledge.
