Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Team is looking for a Senior BI Analyst Developer who will provide complete lifecycle support and maintain the BI infrastructure for UCL.

You will have overall responsibilities for administration, design, documentations, development, testing, support, upgrade and maintenance of the UCL BI implementation using following platforms but not limited such as SAP BI4.2, Tableau Server, PowerBI, and SSIS.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide advance technical expertise and service in BI area. You will be required to provide technical leadership for projects and oversee the technical quality of work within the team. You should be able to work independently to devise solutions, proactively take measures to keep systems secure, identify where the platforms can be improved and make recommendations. Plan and direct Service Operations activities for assigned BI platforms to achieve domain goals. Manage the tools and technologies involved in change management processes. On-call and out-of-hours support will be covered by this role.

Key Requirements

You must have advance knowledge and experience in the administration and development of business intelligence solutions of at least two or more of these technologies: Business Objects upgrade and migration from 4.2 and above, Tableau 2020 and above, OBIEE or SSRS.

It is essential that you have Oracle 12c and 19c data development experience, BI4.2 architecture and Services process flows, content, security, scheduling and publishing, Tomcat web servers and Active Directory SSO. You can work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and skills and developing productive working relationships. Clear communication skills in speech and in writing and being able to translate complex technical concepts for end users of all levels of technical competence are essential criteria for this post.
