Duties and Responsibilities

The IOE Research Operations Team provides administration and support for a diverse range of funded research activity undertaken by academic staff based within the Institute of Education in line with our mission in leading education and social research.

We are now seeking a Senior Research Operations Coordinator (Grants & Project Management) with strong leadership skills to work closely with the Joint Managers of IOE Research Operations to develop and implement strategies to enhance the research community across IOE, promote interdisciplinary collaborations, drive forward research objectives and lead a small team of Grant and Project Administrators.

You will work with all Faculty staff to ensure a successful and positive environment, promoting the Facultys reputation for excellence in research delivery, taking administrative responsibility for all aspects of research grant management post-award support.

Key Requirements

You will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent level of knowledge and experience, a knowledge of research funding bodies, processes and regulations within a HE environment.

You will also have strong leadership and administrative experience in the Higher Education sector; including developing administrative support and processes.
